Join us!Job Description:This job is responsible for managing business groups within Corporate Audit and executing on personnel, communication, and expense management activities. Key responsibilities include planning and developing the audit strategy and managing audit services, influencing business executives, and helping business partners balance business strategy with risk management controls. Job expectations include working with senior leadership to develop Audit's coverage strategies, managing relationships with regulatory agencies and internal business management groups, and overseeing personnel issues.Responsibilities:Communicates Corporate Audit's mission, goals, and strategies, and the importance of operational effectiveness and drives continuous improvement while demonstrating a strategic mindset and leading and supporting changeOversees audit teams to ensure timely execution of the audit plan within quality standards and in conformance to audit policies and proceduresLeverages a risk mindset to proactively identify risks, analyze themes, and continually evaluate areas of priority against the company’s risk profile and control environment Engages with senior leaders and influences business partners to balance business strategy with appropriate risk management controlsMaintains relationships with regulatory agencies and leadership teams by proactively driving communications and discussing audit resultsDevelops the audit coverage strategy and plan, assesses risks, and provides appropriate coverage for current and/or emerging risks for assigned areasManages team performance by training and mentoring, and attracts, develops, and retains a diverse workforce through talent planningRequired Qualifications:10-15 years’ experience within Regulatory, Liquidity, Funding, or Capital PlanningExperience with resolution and recovery planning in a large banking environment10 years managing people or teams5-7 years at large financial institutionsDesired Qualification:Master’s Degree or equivalent work experienceSkills:Audit PlanningRegulatory RelationsRelationship BuildingRisk ManagementTalent DevelopmentCritical ThinkingProject ManagementStrategic ThinkingStrategy Planning and DevelopmentWritten CommunicationsExecutive PresenceFinancial ManagementInternal Audit ReviewWorkforce Diversity ManagementShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40Pay Transparency detailsUS - CT - East Hartford - 101 E River Dr - One Riverview Square (CT2550), US - CT - Stamford - 600 Washington Blvd (CT2561)Pay and benefits informationPay range$215,000.00 - $263,200.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.Discretionary incentive eligibleThis role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
