Job Title: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical function, movement patterns, and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans based on the latest research and best practices in physical therapy.
  • Provide advanced therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Utilize advanced clinical reasoning skills to diagnose movement dysfunction and develop targeted interventions to address impairments and functional limitations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, students, and support staff to facilitate their professional growth and development.
  • Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practice, research, and technology through continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:


  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
  • Board certification in a specialized area of physical therapy (e.g., orthopedics, neurology, sports, etc.) preferred but not required.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong clinical skills with expertise in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and patient education.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous quality improvement, and professional growth.
  • Prior clinical experience in a physical therapy setting preferred but not required.
