VP ETF Sales

Summary:The Vice President, ETF Sales is responsible for executing the firm’s ETF sales effort and managing the ETF internal sales team.  This position will implement tactical sales activities and coaching and mentoring Internal ETF Sales Associates and directly selling Calamos ETF products to RIAs and other clients. This position will be based out of our Chicago office.Primary Responsibilities:Lead and manage the ETF internal sales desk to generate and retain assets within Calamos’ ETF product suite.Achieve independent sales and revenue targets. Manage and cultivate key relationships with wealth management clients, positioning Calamos’ ETF lineup through those contacts.Educate, train and collaborate with other distribution areas and partners Calamos to enhance awareness of the ETF offerings and developments.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-related topics, proficiency in delivering value-added presentations to a broad array of audiences.Update activity in CRM and work with Sales Management on tactical initiatives and projects.Attend company, industry, and other related events as directed.Complete and approve travel and expense reports and other necessary paperwork on a weekly basis.Perform other duties as assigned.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required.10+ years direct industry experience, including strong investment management knowledge and proven client facing capabilities. Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses required.  FINRA series 24, CFA or CAIA preferred.Familiarity with ETF products and proven industry experience with ETFs required.Prior management experience preferred.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written along with significant client facing (investment consulting or sales) experience.High level of self-motivation, integrity, ethics, collaboration skills, and ability to manage and grow talent.PC skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and sales database applications.Extensive travel required within the region.Job SummaryRequisition Number: VPETF001431Job Category: Sales \& DistributionSchedule: Full-Time
