We are seeking one additional, full-time certified nurse midwife to join our well-established practice, with openings at an outpatient clinic location adjacent to BV Hospital.Job medical care for women in all stages of pregnancy, childbirth and post-deliverySee outpatient clinic OB/GYN patientsDiagnose and treat acute and chronic illnessesCounsel and educate patientsPerform diagnostic tests and proceduresWork well within a team, express empathy and understanding with patientsDemonstrated expertise and technical competency in medical care of pregnant womenSolid knowledge of community resources and referralsWorking understanding of the dynamics and intervention techniques related to prenatal situationsAwareness of available substance abuse and diabetic programs, perinatal educationWork autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary teamFlexible hours and regular scheduleAdministration and practice support24-hour in-house pediatric hospitalist serviceLevel II Special Care Nursery 32 weeks+Not accepting Locums candidatesNot accepting new graduates - must have at least 6 months of CNM experienceCompensation and salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview).
