The Ideal Account Manager Will....
Support sales and account management for the Southern region, including the states of Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Missouri AND reside in one of these states.Maintain and grow existing food accounts in the South territory, while developing new business opportunities.Coordinate and implement sales strategies tailored to individual customer needs.Ensure profitable sales of food ingredients across the territory, partnering with distribution channels.Provide market research feedback on industry trends, competitors, and new applications.Prepare plans, budgets, and reports promptly.Attend trade shows and sales meetings to stay at the forefront of industry developments.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Grain Science, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in food ingredients required.Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to business needs.Additional Information:
Travel required up to 30%, including potential international trips.Eligible for a performance-based bonusCompany carGenerous benefits package included.
