Looking for Senior Data Governance and Risk Analyst for one of the top banking client at Charlotte, NC
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Governance and Risk Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering defined deliverables across multiple teams, ensuring that all objectives are met in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, risk management, and regulatory reporting within the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities:Process Control Evaluation:
Support the evaluation and improvement of process control designs to effectively mitigate associated risks.Performance Monitoring:
Develop and oversee performance monitoring metrics and reporting. Create and present key risk measures decks.Governance and Remediation:
Coordinate performance metric governance and go-to-green planning for remediation teams. Document and review control performance gaps.Reporting and Data Analysis:
Provide unique and insightful data views to support portfolio management. Utilize advanced tools for reporting and analysis.Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work with application owners, policy owners, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective completion of deliverables.Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain procedures and documentation. Support the documentation of remediation plans to achieve satisfactory performance ratings.Technical Skills:
Utilize advanced data analysis tools, including MS Office Suite, Excel, and Tableau. Experience with Python is a plus.Risk and Governance:
Apply strong risk and governance management skills to drive root cause analysis and resolve issues effectively.Qualifications:
Experience:
10+ years in technology or infrastructure management, including cloud and server environments. Relevant experience in data governance and risk management within the financial industry is highly desirable.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.Job Requirement
