Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking an Aeronautical Integration Engineer at the journeyman level to support our U-2 Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance/ Special Operations Forces (U-2 ISR/SOF) at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, GA. The U-2 Branch is comprised of Government civilian, military, and Contractor personnel which support three Sections: Airframe, Sensors and Systems, of which multiple IPT's provide full sustainment of cradle-to-grave support to the U-2 program.

The Aeronautical Integration Engineer shall support the program office by providing in-depth understanding of aircraft structures, flight control surfaces/systems, mechanical and avionics subsystems to evaluate an aircraft integration approach and ensure the viability of the weapon system design and ability to meet airworthiness and performance requirements. The Contractor shall provide technical input on aircraft aerodynamic design and performance as a result of required modifications and integration of mission equipment. The Contractor will support required processes to acquire and sustain a commercial derivative aircraft, including the Operational Safety, Suitability and Effectiveness program, Mechanical Equipment and Subsystem Integrity Program (MECSIP), Avionics Integrity Program (AVIP), the Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) and the Corrosion Prevention and Control Program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

Evaluate the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) Contractor's design and assess that missionized aircraft will meet aircraft-related Standard Reporting Designator (SRD) requirementsEvaluate and assess the EMD Contractor's design and deliverables meet aircraft-related Statement of Work (SOW) requirementsDevelop and implement Aircraft Integrity programs and a Corrosion Prevention and Control programManage implementation and completion of Aerial Refueling Certification and clearance processesManage Size, Power, Cooling, and Weight and Balance designsSupport test planning and execution and review of associated documentsCoordinate with other IPTs including Radar, Communications, BMC2, Logistics, Integration and Test to ensure aircraft system/subsystems are adequate to meet requirementsSupport the development and implementation of a program office OSS&E processDevelop and implement program office Operating Instructions, as requiredDevelop and implement a program sustainment strategyManage Diminishing Manufacturers Source issuesEducation, Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum of an active Secret security clearance is required.This position requires an

Engineering degree from an ABET accredited programThe following Education/Experience criteria must be met at minimum:

BS in Engineering from an ABET Accredited University and 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 3 of which must be in the DoD
