DescriptionThe Leidos NISC IV program has an opening for a Computer Systems Analyst to provide technical issue resolution, escalated end user trouble shooting, application administration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and subject matter expertise (SME) for WebOPSS, OPSS Insurance HQ, OPSS Exemptions HQ, eAIM, and Digital Certificate Service (DCS) for the FAA and the aviation community.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :Provide Tier 3 support to the WebOPSS applications.Ensure continuous operations of WebOPSS production applications including on call situations to assist with troubleshooting an outage or system failure.Promote application use and user satisfaction by providing prompt, efficient, and enthusiastic assistance for the application.Identify problem details and build rapport with users internal and external to FAA exhibiting a broad range of technical and business process knowledge.Update and manage all escalated incidents assigned to closure, report on status, and ensure resolution.As Tier 3, responsible to develop and maintain written instruction for use by Tier 1 and 2 personnel and application users.Conduct staff training prior to new application functionality and/or system deployment.Create and maintain user accounts and provision system access.Escalate systems issues to application software developers and database engineers.Identify, reproduce, help diagnose and address application bugs, design flaws, and propose solutions.Define application enhancements to existing functionality and new application functionality development.Provide Tier 3 UAT for changes to the IT environment and the impact on the application.Provide recommendations on ways to improve processes, procedures, and incident resolution.Use Tier 3 knowledge to respond to application-specific questions escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support and from FAA internal and external users.Use Tier 3 expertise and research to diagnose and resolve complex technical and business process issues escalated by Tier 1 and 2 that require in-depth knowledge of the functionality of the systems.Basic Qualifications

Knowledge of web-based applications, databases, and Client/Server environments.Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.Bachelor's degree in a technical and/or aviation field and 4-8 years of relevant experience or master's with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.Must be able to obtain a public trust suitability interim clearance.Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to WebOPSS, OPSS Insurance HQ, OPSS Exemptions HQ, eAIM, and Digital Certificate Service (DCS) applications.Familiar with the Federal Aviation Administration organizational structure and policies.Original Posting Date:

Pay Range:

Pay Range $61,750.00 - $111,625.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
