Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive data solutions that unify, segment, and activate customer data across various channels. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to ensure the successful delivery of data-driven solutions that support our business objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture Design : Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.Data Integration : Oversee the integration of various data sources into Salesforce Data Cloud, including data from CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, e-commerce systems, and other third-party applications.Data Modeling : Develop and maintain data models and schemas that support data unification, segmentation, and activation processes.Data Governance : Implement and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).Solution Implementation : Guide the implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions, including data ingestion, ETL processes, data transformation, and data activation.Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in data management and Salesforce Data Cloud implementation.Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and customer service teams, to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.Performance Optimization : Monitor and optimize the performance of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions, ensuring they meet performance benchmarks and scalability requirements.Documentation and Training : Create comprehensive documentation for architecture, processes, and best practices. Provide training and support to end-users and other team members.Required QualificationsEducation : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce Data Cloud or Customer Data Platforms.Technical Skills :Proficiency in Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, ETL processes, data modeling, and data activation.Strong knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) and integration with Salesforce Data Cloud.Experience with data integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica) and data warehousing solutions.Proficiency in SQL, data query languages, and data visualization tools.Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.Soft Skills :Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.Preferred QualificationsCertifications : Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or other relevant Salesforce certifications.Industry Knowledge : Experience in industries such as retail, finance, healthcare, or technology where data-driven decision-making is critical.Agile Methodologies : Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
