With this growth comes the exciting challenge of managing our increasing number of high value funding partnerships whilst also diversifying our fundraising to support individual giving and major gifts.Our Fundraising Team is formed of several fundraising strands, an established grants programme, a digital fundraising stream raising income from the public, and a philanthropy team working with individuals.We are seeking an enthusiastic Fundraising Officer to support our fundraising team and help us grow our supporter base.Position

What you’ll do

(key responsibilities)The Fundraising Officer plays a critical role in supporting our growing Fundraising team. Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager this role will focus on growing our individual giving programme and supporting the delivery of excellent supporter stewardship, including event administration, as well as helping to coordinate information and data management across the fundraising team.The role is hands-on, project management, teamwork, reporting and requires a proactive approach to fundraising initiatives. The main responsibilities of this role include:Lead on the delivery of 2 x Individual Giving (IG) appeals per year;Lead on Gift Aid management for all donors;Monitor the Fundraising inbox, online and postal donations and ensure a high level of donor care is maintained, including thanking and being the first point of contact for individual donor enquiries;Maintain up-to-date supporter records on our Salesforce database and identify opportunities to improve processes for tracking relationships and capturing data;Lead on delivery of a high quality supporter journey for individual donors and support the team to create and deliver excellent stewardship through events and materials;Assist the planning, administration and delivery of fundraising and stewardship events;Track and report all IG income;Support the Senior Fundraising Manager and the Communications team in the planning, administration and analysis of our Individual Giving Programme;Support with copywriting and collating information to share with donors;Support with management of donation platforms;Other ad-hoc administrative duties as and when required.Requirements

What you’ll bring to the teamAs the Fundraising Officer you will be a team player, with excellent organisational, administrative and writing skills. We're looking for a dynamic and creative individual to help us unlock the next chapter of our growth. You’ll be comfortable managing relationships and will be experienced in effectively supporting a fundraising team, whilst managing your own workload. Several members of the team go into the office weekly.The Development, Communications and Engagement Directorate holds quarterly meetings in person in London, and the wider organisation also holds strategy days throughout the year usually within London.ShareAction teams enjoy hybrid working, splitting their time between home and our office. You’ll have access to a modern, flexible office space in central London and regular social events with colleagues.Other information

Remote working will remain the norm for many ShareAction staff, with office space available as described in London for those who wish to use it.
