Magid Glove and Safety is a leading manufacturer and distributor of safety products and head-to-toe personal protective equipment (PPE). The primary responsibility of the District Sales role is to maintain a customer base in a specific territory by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. We are seeking a proactive individual who enjoys outside sales and has a passion for growing a sales territory through cold-calling and canvassing. This is a remote position with a home office and a company vehicle. You will be working in the field, interacting with customers four days a week.

This position involves consultative selling and requires you to focus on understanding the needs and goals of our customers so that you can provide tailored solutions. Once fully trained, you will be part of our team of safety professionals who specialize in identifying potential hazards, assessing risks, and implementing measures to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment.

Job Responsibilities:Develop new business by cold calling and canvassing.Assist customers in creating safety policies and procedures.Help customers ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards by conducting risk assessments.Facilitate training sessions on best practices for maintaining a safe workplace.Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements in safety protocols.Implement sales programs with existing clients.Create proposals to generate new businessWhat We'll Do For You

Through our training program, you will gain familiarity with our products and mold yourself into a true safety expert. As you progress, you will become a valuable strategic partner to customers in your territory, helping them minimize the risk of accidents, protect employees, and ensure regulatory compliance.

What We're Looking For:

At least 2-5 years of successful selling and building client relationships experience (ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred).College Degree (Preferred but not required)Ability to develop strategic client relationships.Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.This position is remote with a home office. You will be in the field four days a week, usually windshield travel, but upwards of 15% overnight travel.
