Slalom is targeting Consultant or Sr. Consultant hires for this role.

What You'll DoUnderstand business goals and drivers and translate those into an appropriate technical cloud solution.Be the solution ambassador for Microsoft Azure data solution, architecture, related technologies and their interdependencies.Create innovative solutions leveraging cloud platforms to solve client business challenges.Gather requirements, assess client capabilities and analyze findings to provide appropriate cloud recommendations and adoption strategy.Demonstrate expertise via client workshops and learning whiteboard sessions.Create conceptual, logical and physical design for cloud-based solutions for analytics platforms.Research, analyze, recommend and select technical approaches for solving difficult and challenging development and integration problems.Design and implement reusable data ingestion and self-serve analytics frameworks.Learn and adopt new tools and techniques to increase performance, automation and scalability.What You'll Bring

Production level experience migrating and deploying Azure analytics solutions.Proficiency in implementing data services including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Self-Serve Analytics with Semantic Data Models Power BI Premium.General understanding implementing Microsoft Fabric Capacities and Copilot for Power BI and Data Engineering.Defining governance and roadmaps for data analytics projectsAssist in designing multi-phased Azure data strategies, including designing multi-phased implementation roadmapsExperience with performance analysis, troubleshooting and remediation techniques.Design and develop scalable data models and data ingestion frameworks to transform a wide variety of datasetsResearch, analyze, recommend and select technical approaches for solving challenging and complex development and integration problems.The ability to apply such methods to solve business problems using one or more Azure data services in combination with building data pipelines, data streams, and system integration.Proficient with PySpark, T-SQL, data pipelines, and semantic modelsExperience implementing LLM-based context-aware virtual assistant with OpenAI end pointsExperience with agile, automation and DevOps principles.Automation and orchestration experience with Visual Studio/VS Code, Azure Data Studio, Git, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Bicep, or Terraform is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. or this position at the Consultant level the base salary pay range is $96,000 to $177,000. For this position at the Senior Consultant level the base salary pay range is $110,000 to $203,000. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
