Scopely is looking for a Senior Social Marketing Manager to join an unannounced project working remotely within the US!

What You Will DoExecute an ambitious global social media strategy integrated with existing player engagement and influencer strategies, to engage core audiences, maintain active players, and assist new player acquisition.Lead strategies with measurable impact on brand awareness, growth, engagement, and retention; this includes establishing and executing social creative content pipelines from in-house teams to external partners to your scrappy ingenuity, while consistently evaluating the success and effectiveness of your strategyDevelop and execute owned channel content streams specific to the related pop culture of our game, player education, gameplay strategy, and Liveops programming. Close collaboration with our Senior Influencer Manager to ensure a strategic approach to creator-led content on owned channels will be criticalCreate and manage all owned channel planning, and regularly review social creative asset performance and insights to keep the business and marketing organization up to date with market/industry trends and initiatives to ensure our initiatives are relevant and competitiveExecute a global Discord strategy to be the epicenter of the relationship with our core community, focusing platform approach on player feedback loops, event and game engagements, and affiliate programs, while striving to maintain a healthy and inclusive communityBuild and nurture a community of brand advocates, including various marketing and engagement strategies across owned channels (EG: TikTok/YouTube/Instagram/Twitter)Be a player engagement expert across owned channels from strategically assessing feedback to evolving a sports entertainment-like brand voice our growing community wants to engage. Build a trusted, external voice of the player (for our content, the game, and the development team) for all community communications via Owned ChannelsMonitor and analyze content performance and social sentiment, using data tools and insights to inform decisions. Proactively enhance our strategic plans as a result, escalate potential issues, and offer solutions to assist with problemsExpand and monitor our competitor sets, communicating strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. Stay at the forefront of social media trends, and breakthrough campaigns within and outside our industry, with a drive to take direct inspired actions toward our projectEstablish and advocate for owned and earned channel best practices including competitor sets, content strategy, and owned channel optimizationKeep a constant finger on the pulse of social media trends in our industry, entertainment, consumer products, and sports that can inspire and drive our initiativesHire and develop a future community management team which may also include a composition of contract moderators, rotational player council, and engagement specialistsWhat We're Looking For

Affinity for sports entertainment. A fan-first mentality. A true passion for this craft.Self-driven, consummate team player, period. The most non-negotiable intangible quality of this role. Let's go!Experience developing and leading social media brand campaigns end-to-end (live-ops related is a huge plus), driving channel growth, community engagement, developing and executing creative, and budget management5+ years of experience in developing gaming communities (or related industries), driving engagement, retention & growth. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferredExpert understanding of social content platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, etc), including Discord and RedditPassion for community building, engaging with players, content marketing, and driving retention among players inside and outside of the gameSkilled with enterprise social publishing tools such as Sprout Social or Emplifi, and listening tools such as Affogata, Talkwalker, Netbase, etc. Including a deep understanding of social media KPIs and analyzing either on platform, Google Analytics, or relatedExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ideally in a variety of mediums including long-form and social media. Previous editorial experience is a plusStrong presentation and project management skills; high degree of comfort managing multiple projectsAwesome Bonus: Short-form video and static content creation experience leveraging existing clips, imagery, or bespoke original captured contentExtra Awesome Bonus: understanding of boosted and paid media strategies to drive owned channel growth and engagement

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $98,500 - $135,500, plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
