Job Description

Capgemini is looking for a Business/Data Analyst with risk and regulatory expertise to join our dynamic Insights and Data team. We focus on supporting our client's needs by providing domain, data, and technology knowledge, while also adopting the right approaches.

This role allows you to focus on two areas: Resolution & Recovery Planning (RRP) and Enterprise Concentration Risk Management (ECRM). These are in an effort to collaborate multi-functionally across various teams to deliver strategic partnership to maintain and support financial stability.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and enhance data quality across systems.Participate in, and provide insights during, strategic discussions on data sourcing of various systems. Preparing and communicating recommendations and status reports for senior leaders on regulatory projects.Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify gaps, discrepancies, and improvement areas. Validate data to summarize issues, recommend solutions, and resolve data-related problems promptly.Ensure consistency and accuracy of data between different systems and sources; and track the origin and movement of data across various systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.Required Skills

5-7 years in business analysis, data analysis, or related roles within financial services. Banking experience preferred.Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to liquidity reporting and wholesale banking products including Loans/Corporate Loans, Cards, Mortgages, Securities (Structured Notes, OTC Derivatives is a plus)Understanding of Risk and Compliance and ability to work with trade and position level data.Proficient in SQL with ability to handle business and data analysis, query data in SQL, and tell a compelling story about the issue or project in question.Advanced Excel skills (Python experience is a plus)Big data - Hive/Hue/PrestoExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities possessing ability to adapt to changing regulatory landscapes and business requirements.Experience managing projects using various methodologies with ability to work closely with multi-functional teams.Experience building presentations and reports for senior leaders. Possessing effective communication in both written and verbal communication.Flexibility in accommodating various tasks and strong time management skills is required.Life at Capgemini
