POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' Content Developer I will participate in facets of Instructional Design to support developing the skills and knowledge of employees within the Solar Energy division. The primary focus for this position is to make an impact primarily on our Solar field-based employees and other work groups that support our 'Field First' rally cry. This position may require some travel to field project sites (up to 30%) to obtain content information and media. The Content Developer I will work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create engaging learning content (ILT, eLearning, Blended) into the Learning Management System (LMS), specifically Workday. The Content Developer I will successfully translate obscure solar activities into understandable content for a variety of learner levels. The ideal candidate is open-minded, creative, outstanding listener, able to multitask and able to collaborate with others to roll out 2-4 projects at a given time.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInstructional DesignBuild relationships and coordinate/collaborate with multiple business partners to understand training needs of various functional business unitsInterview and obtain information to help create learning objectives and identify audience to then create concepts and content requestedDesign effective training programs using industry models (ex: ADDIE, SAM model)Design training to address all learning levels and stylesCreate content outlines and storyboards to illustrate and present drafts suitable for learning objectives

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCEMust have 1-5 years' experience as Content Developer I using multiple creative development programs such as Articulate Storyline 360, Camtasia, Captivate, Easy Generator, Synthesia, etc.BS/BA in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Business or equivalent is highly preferredCertification (e.g., CPLP or ASTD) is a plusSome proven experience as an effective and productive Content DeveloperUnderstanding of effective teaching methodologies and toolsWillingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate training & developmentContent Development for construction, engineering or architectural organization is preferredStrong computer skills, strong proficiency in MSOffice (especially PowerPoint) and eLearning development softwareDemonstrate strong organizational and time management skillsStrong critical thinking and decision making skillsSelf-directed, motivated individual contributor willing to learn new skills when necessaryMust be able to adapt to changing priorities and remain effective in production and creativityMust be engaging and demonstrate strong professional presenceMust have great attitude in working with the Moss teamMust be bilingual (English/Spanish [preferred] or English/Haitian Creole)
