Job Title: Global IB Compliance Officer

Office Location: Hybrid/ 520 Madison Avenue, New York or 101 Hudson Street, Jersey City, New Jersey

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

This position is for a Vice-President role, globally managing the IB, ECM and DCM ("Global IB") Compliance function. Typical responsibilities:Assisting and advising on IB, FI and Equities Capital Markets transactions.Reviewing and clearing transactional conflicts.Attending, and advising during, M+A and Capital Markets committee meetings.Reviewing and updating of Global IB policies.Delivering training to Global IB.Advising Global IB on core compliance issues.Mentoring, training and helping to oversee junior members on Global IB issues. Depending on seniority/experience of the candidate, the role can be structured as a management role.Required Background & Skills:

Seeking a highly motivated individual who is willing to actively participate as part of the Jefferies Compliance team. The candidate must:

Think analytically and provide advice based on sound judgment.Work effectively in a team environment and foster effective relationships.Willing to be flexible to cover different shifts and take on ad hoc projects.Be able to react in a fast-paced environment, managing a wide variety of requests.Be able to work positively and make decisions under time pressure.Be able to interpret and apply SEC, FINRA and other regulatory rules.Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 3-6+ years' relevant Legal or Compliance experience.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $130,000 - $180,000

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
