Job Description

This position is in the Configurable Mixed Signal Division (CMSD), part of Renesas’ Analog & Connectivity organization. The CMSD team develops and industrializes highly programmable mixed-signal products for a wide range of applications, including but not limited to consumer, communication, computing, data center, industrial, and automotive applications. The CMSD team is the pioneer and dominant market leader of the highly successful GreenPAK family of products. This customer-configurable product and platform enables customers to differentiate their products and reduces BOM cost and, development cost, and time. The CMSD team is continuously expanding our product portfolio, which includes high-performance analog IPs, motor control, and FPGA.

As the Director of Product Marketing at our semiconductor company, you will lead a team responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives for GreenPAK and AnalogPAK families. Your role drives our semiconductor products' adoption, growth, and profitability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, sales, and executive leadership, to ensure our GreenPAK and AnalogPAK products are effectively positioned and marketed to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives. Your contributions will be instrumental in our company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

Propose and lead marketing efforts for the new product introduction of programmable mixed-signal products

Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies aligned with business goals and market trends.

Product Positioning and Messaging:

Define and communicate compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates our programmable mixed-signal products products in the market.

Go-to-Market Strategy:

Drive the go-to-market strategy for new product launches, including pricing, distribution channels, sales enablement, and promotional campaigns.

Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective sales strategies and support customer acquisition and retention efforts.

Market Research and Analysis:

Analyze market data and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions and drive product roadmap priorities.

Customer Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.

Gather customer insights through surveys, interviews, and feedback sessions to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and mentor a team of product marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.

Marketing Collateral and Content:

Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including product datasheets, whitepapers, case studies, and presentations.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives.

Monitor marketing performance, track ROI, and provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).

10+ years of experience in the semiconductor business, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management marketing role.

Track record of successfully managing and launching products, driving revenue growth

Strong understanding of programmable mixed-signal technologies and customer requirements.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies in the semiconductor industry.

Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

Data converter or signal chain is a big plus.

Additional Information

The expected annual pay range for this position is $191,500- $287,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities and commission pay. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
