ASM Global is offering an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team at our Stockton Managed Facilities (Adventist Health Arena, Bob Hope Theatre, Oak Park Ice Rink, Stockton Ballpark and Stockton Marina). As a Human Resources Intern, you will assist in various aspects of Human Resource matters and functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support the HR department in daily administrative tasks.

Maintain strong, positive employee relations through interactions with all levels of the organization.

Maintaining employee records and updating HR databases

Assisting with on-boarding new hires, including processing new hire paperwork

Assists department in conducting various HR programs and procedures for all company employees.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

Completion of undergraduate sophomore or junior year at an undergraduate college or university working towards a 4-year degree preferably in Human Resources or Business

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Detail- orientated and can efficiently multi-task

Ability to adapt and learn quickly

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to provide high quality customer service through phone calls, email, and face to face interactions

Able to manage sensitive information in a confidential manner

Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
