You must live in Dallas, TX to be considered.The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in field adjusting within an insurance carrier environment and demonstrate proficiency with CCC software. Additionally, this role will include responsibilities as a CAT duty relief floater, requiring flexibility for deployment on short notice. If you possess these qualifications and are ready for an engaging and dynamic role, we encourage you to apply.Job SummaryResponsible for creating or auditing a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims in either the auto or specialty lines leading to the proper disposition. Responsible for training, mentoring, controlling quality and providing technical assistance on material damage claims.Key ResponsibilitiesPossesses strong estimating fundamentals in order to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities.Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company.Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files across multiple lines.Evaluates settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; makes decisions on best option.Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines.Education• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)Experience• 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)Education & Experience (in lieu)• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.CompensationCompensation offered for this role is $24.04 - 34.26 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.At National General, great things happen when our people work together.
