Promotes health and the prevention of illness and injury. Practices autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professionals to treat and manage patient health problems. The role of the APP includes direct patient/family care, consultation, research, patient/families/groups, and community advocacy to holistically care for complex patient care needs.
