The

Corporate Compliance Officer

is responsible for ensuring that the Compliance Program accomplishes its objectives. Specifically, this position has the function of directing the Compliance Department in regulatory compliance; maintaining the effectiveness of the Corporate Compliance Program; and acting as a consultative resource for regulatory issues. The Corporate Compliance Officer will also oversee the provider credentialing function and serve as the Privacy Officer.Advising and directing employees in regulatory complianceFunctioning as a key company representative/liaison in meetings with outside federal and state agencies for purposes other than standard federal and state auditorsProviding education and training about actual, proposed, or pending legislation and regulations that affect operations and identify operational obstacles to compliance, and working with other departments to identify and implement solutionsServing as a consultative resource for reimbursement and regulatory issuesMaintaining the effectiveness of the Corporate Compliance ProgramServing as the organization's Privacy OfficerOverseeing the Credentialing Process for the Onix Group and its Healthcare AffiliatesQualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or Human Services is requiredRegistered Nurse license in DE is preferredAbility to travel 2-3 days/weekHealthcare or Long Term Care experience strongly preferredAt least 10 years of experience in a healthcare organization, to include demonstrated leadershipMust be familiar with operational, financial, quality assurance, and human resources procedures and regulationsCertification in Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), and/or Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC)
