to help envision and deliver delightful partner and traveler experiences. The work is on a global scale for multiple brands, across devices and platforms, in a diverse and collaborative environment.As a
UX Designer , you have an opportunity to think through the framing of problems with a focus on end-user needs and desires. Alongside the product team, you will identify, design, specify and implement end-to-end experiences for a wide range of products and services. Your workstream will be on the Portal, the partner-facing product, where the team partners manage their business. You will be a key contributor to creating delightful experiences for partners who are managing their performance, running reports, and optimizing their business.General Responsibilities:Demonstrate understanding of visual and interaction design foundations and create appropriate sketches, wireframes, flows, design comps and prototypesExplore design solutions and directions based on customer needs, wants, and problemsCollaborate closely with other experience designers, content designers and researchers to deliver explorations and solutions.Demonstrate facilitation skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional partnersUse our design system, components and patterns effectively and appropriately with guidanceCreate routine, informative communication material explaining decision-making rationale to team membersHelp gather and interpret diverse qualitative and quantitative inputsAssist with defining success metrics for solving a design problemContribute to idea generation in team settingsCollect, process and act on design feedback constructivelyProblem Definition and Product Strategy:You will build a solid toolkit of methods for facilitating the gathering and synthesizing of diverse insights in ambiguous problem spacesYou will influence strategy for a project or product area by articulating a coherent UX vision based on clear, actionable problem/opportunity statementsYou will define customer experience success metrics for a project or product areaIdeation and Visualization:You will explore diverse, novel perspectives and design directions by default, and evaluate concepts using appropriate methods to determine the strongest proposal to present to the wider teamYou will confidently facilitate idea generation with stakeholdersYou will demonstrate mastery of common visual and interaction design principles and practice, and create appropriate sketches, wireframes, flows, design comps, and prototypes with minimal guidanceCommunication and Presentation:You will consistently create clear and compelling materials and narratives explaining design rationale to team and stakeholders using customer, business, or competitive insightsYou will seek diverse feedback on design work and anticipate feedback to address it proactively. Customer CentricityYou will apply and adapt design and research processes to fit the needs of the projectYou will develop empathy and insights about customers based on data and insights from research and other customer data sourcesYou will clearly communicate customer-centric goals when presenting workWho you are:Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience; Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience or related Design field or relevant experience is applicable with at least 5 years related professional experienceStrong appreciation for human-centered design and outstanding customer experiences, and a proven track record of collaboration with creative partnersHistory of developing cohesive, compelling strategic visions for experience, product, and service challengesThe target hiring compensation range for this role is $72-77 an hour.
