Program Overview:

Are you an innovative, forward-thinker who would like to make an impact with the Fortune 50 company behind Xfinity, NBCUniversal, and more? Comcast's Northeast Division is seeking dynamic, self-motivated intern participants who have a strong passion to drive the age of innovation though our immersive summer experience!

Our 10-week paid internship program gives participants hands-on experience working with various groups across multiple office locations within Comcast's Central Division. As a member of the team, you will gain invaluable knowledge of the industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture, and receive exposure to other areas of the business.

As you get an inside look into the day-to-day operations of a cutting-edge media and technology company, you'll work on creative, impactful, and thought-provoking projects with various business units. With many exhilarating experiences built into one internship, you will have the opportunity to take center stage and showcase your summer projects during the final Summer Showcase.Professional Development & Fun:

You will have the opportunity to network with fellow intern participants through social activities, community building, and Experience Days. Our 10-week internship program maintains a strong focus on professional growth and development. Through activities like speaker series and skill-building workshops you will jump-start your career. Plus, we build in time for you to network with senior leaders and enjoy collaborative activities with your fellow program participants.Role Overview:

As an Intern participating with the Digital Media Services team, you will operate within a dynamic working environment. We are an in-house creative and production agency providing video content, production, and business support to Comcast's Northeast Division. This includes but is not limited to; live meeting video production (on location, hybrid, and virtual), custom-crafted content, video series, sizzle reels, podcasts, video event production coverage, in-the-field video production shoots, and broadcast engineering support within an $8M+ revenue driving Leased Access business. As you contribute to the meaningful work our team is doing, you will interact with our senior leadership team and network with other cross-functional employees.

This role is an exciting opportunity that will focus on supporting the execution of significant projects that will require exceptional organizational skills and a customer-first mindset to succeed within a fast-paced environment.

Contribute to strategy and messaging, reviews, and edits content of materials to ensure content meets established communications standards and guidelines during the production processSupport the timeliness and efficiency of Creative & Production, Engineering & Operations, and Business Support for the Digital Media Services TeamKeep videos and communications fresh, creative, and engaging with great writing and designCreatively solve business issues through innovation of new ideasCollaborate closely with key internal partners to execute project plans designed to meet Comcast's objectivesOther duties and responsibilities as assignedBasic Qualifications/Requirements:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityAuthorized to work in the United States of AmericaAbility to work 35-40 hours per week over 10 weeksRegular, consistent, and punctual attendanceAbility to work in both independent and collaborative environmentsExcellent written and oral communication skills and professional presenceBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)Preferred Background:

Prior business exposure through internships, work experiences, or campus organizationsCurrently pursuing a major in Video/Television/Film Production, Television Engineering, Marketing, Communications, Broadcast Journalism, or related fieldsInterest in the telecommunications, cable, and media industries

CompensationBase Pay: $22.00

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
