Nourish is on a mission to improve people's health by making it easy to eat well. More than half of Americans have a chronic condition related to what they eat, and poor nutrition is the number one driver of preventable death.

Nourish is addressing this healthcare crisis by helping people eat better, more easily, with our food as medicine platform. We connect people with a telehealth Registered Dietitian, food, and mobile app to improve their nutrition, all covered by health insurance. The Nourish mobile app provides a comprehensive approach to wellness through personalized visits with Registered Dietitians, medically-tailored meal delivery, health progress tracking, personalized content, meal logging, recipes / meal planning, AI chat, and more.

We launched two years ago and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform. Our patients span a wide range of nutrition-related conditions including diabetes, eating disorders, kidney disease, GI conditions, cancer, obesity / weight management, cardiovascular disease, and more. We are live in all 50 states.

We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised over $44M from top-tier VCs including Index Ventures, Thrive Capital, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, and Box Group, amongst others. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.

About the Role

As a critical member of our BizOps team, you'll lead a variety of projects across the business that help ensure Nourish patients get the care they need. This means working cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders (including our clients, the insurance companies, our dietitians, and the rest of the Nourish team), and taking new initiatives from zero to one. You'll get the opportunity to help optimize and scale our customer experience, credentialing and revenue operations functions, while also plugging in on a variety of mission-critical workstreams spanning the company.

This role is full-time in NYC (in-person candidates only), with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office at a minimum. Nourish has an NYC office in the heart of Silicon Alley.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently lead high-priority BizOps projects from start-to-finish spanning customer experience, revenue operations, credentialing operations, data analysis, etc.
  • Work cross-functionally with our growth, partnerships, product/design/eng, and clinical operations teams to implement new initiatives & manage change
  • Perform ongoing or ad-hoc data analysis to support decision-making
  • Help determine key priorities for the organization each quarter & month
  • Identify necessary hires for the BizOps org and help lead hiring efforts

  • You love (and excel at) data analysis. A great BizOps org uses data to guide decisions, and here at Nourish, we love data! You are capable of producing high-quality data analysis (including high-level data structuring/approach and the actual execution). You can clearly synthesize results and propose next steps.
We'd love to hear from you if:
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of industry experience in management consulting or financial services (e.g., private equity, investment banking, venture capital), corporate strategy, and / or strategy & operations at a high-growth start-up.
  • You have strong data analysis skills and are comfortable with data technology (e.g., Excel, Metabase, Alteryx, etc.)
  • You enjoy high-level strategy & problem-solving, but also aren't afraid to get into the weeds when needed
  • You take extreme ownership over projects/initiatives you lead
  • You enjoy new challenges and jump in headfirst when facing an issue. You are able to adapt to the situation at hand and can be flexible in your approach when new circumstances arise.
  • You're comfortable working cross-functionally with a variety of team members (our patients, insurance companies, our internal team, etc.) and have strong communication skills
  • You enjoy proactively coming up with solutions when you notice inefficiencies
