What You Will Do

The Master Scheduler analyzes and interprets data to help forecast and plan demand. They use statistical and data analysis tools to anticipate and shape demand, organize resources to meet demand with supply, and streamline inventory.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasting models and tools
  • Measure and analyze forecast accuracy and multiple levels and work with stakeholders to improve it
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align demand forecasts with sales and operational strategies
  • May use statistical tools to analyze and interpret complex data to provide insights that support demand forecasting
  • Identifies supply/demand issues, develops corrective action plan, seeks stakeholder approval, and implements adjustments
  • Evaluates and provides recommendations on stock levels
  • Develops and maintains rough cut capacity plans
  • Participate in S&OP activities to monitor demand planning performance and capacity highlighting critical product lines
  • Produce visual information to enable effective decision making
  • Support obsolescence management and stock depletion as required
  • Support their assigned business unit with a "can do" attitude
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • APICS experience preferred
  • Five or more years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of MRP in a manufacturing environment (i.e. planning, purchasing, inventory management, capacity planning, and shop floor control)

Specialized Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to lead cross-functional efforts and collaborate with other team members to achieve results
  • Mindset for continuous improvement including strong drive for results, sense of urgency, and a bias for action
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervisory inputs

Salary Range:
Please note the typical hiring range is $90,000 - 125,000. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
