Come join our team!
CNN is hiring a Software Engineering Manager in DevOps. This is a great opportunity for an individual that is passionate about maintaining and building upon a great DevOps culture with engineering teams building News products.

The CNN DevOps team is small but mighty. We help multiple cross-functional product teams do operations well by supporting DevOps practices and by building and supporting platforms, tools, and software libraries.

We are experts in cloud infrastructure services, networking and operations and serve as consultants to CNN's world-class development teams.

We believe in infrastructure as code and in utilizing modern software development practices for operations. We promote automation and zero-downtime deployments.

We subscribe to blameless post-mortems as primarily about learning.

We are strong partners for security.

We believe if you ship it you run it. That includes cross-functional product teams having the access to develop and operate free of gatekeepers

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for people management for a team of 4 experienced DevOps engineers with near term opportunity for expansion.

You will provide support for the individuals you manage to advance their careers and give them the valuable feedback they need to grow.
