Product Management Director
will be responsible for market research, design, development, implementation and ongoing management of multiple medical insurance product portfolios for a specific state(s).How you will make an impact:Develops, implements and maintains competitive product platform.Partners with product managers and project team to achieve superior execution of product strategy in the marketplace.Tracks individual product performance by benefit design, market segment and geography.Supports the development of short- and long-term strategic product plans in support of market, sales and profitability objectives.Identifies system needs to support short- and long-term product strategy.Develops system requirements and software.May lead effort or manage project teams in the implementation of regional and companywide initiatives including legislative changes, network/provider changes/ medical management program and policy initiatives.Minimum Requirements:Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:MBA preferred.Demonstrated results in product development and market research.Experience and knowledge managing and developing health insurance plans and portfolios.Experience with strategic and tactical planning and market opportunity analysis within the health care or managed care industry.Self-Starter and high acuity for organizational skills strongly preferred.Excellent computer skills, demonstrating fluency with all key packages, with written, oral and presentation skills necessary to successfully influence senior executives strongly preferred.For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $110,040 to $188,640.In addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.
