HEYDUDE is looking for an Associate Copywriter to join our rapidly growing team of creative marketing Go-To’s. Do you love writing? Can you turn a phrase on the drop of a dime? Do you live for syntax, sentence structure, and creative writing? You will be tasked with concepting and writing a large portion of our brand marketing tactics. This includes email campaigns, site copy, newsletters, SMS copy, SEO, and much more. You’ll also oversee that the voice and personality of HEYDUDE shines in every single word you write. Our ideal candidate is passionate about creativity and writing, attention to even the smallest details, the desire to work with others and cross-collaborate on a variety of projects, and a passion for footwear.What You'll Do

Generate ideas and writing for the brand’s marketing platform and tactics, including monthly email campaigns, website copy, SMS campaigns, partner marketing, etc.Ensure the brand tone is present in all brand marketing creative writing.Maintain an attention to detail, particularly with proofreading, spelling, and grammar.Ability to multitask on multiple writing projects at once.Collaborate with the creative team on copy and creative innovation for brand elevation.Report to lead team writers, creative directors, and managers.Possess initiative to volunteer, support, and assist the creative team when necessary.Work within established deadlines as well as work with creative needs that arise on the fly.Maintain a passion for creativity and seek out best-in-class work.What You'll Bring to the Table

Portfolio showcasing your recent work.BS, BA, or Certificate in Advertising, Creative Writing, Copywriting, Marketing, or similar.Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in a writing role.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc.Passion surrounding creative, branded writing to maintain and elevate HEYDUDE's voice, tone, and personality.Attention to detail, especially with grammar, spelling, and overall proofreading.Maintain a high level of organization to meet set and shifting deadlines.Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, test-and-learn setting to communicate with our consumers and drive engagement.Ability to balance multiple projects at once and prioritize based on business needs.Ability to take constructive feedback well and apply it in future projects.Must be a willing communicator and collaborator.Experience in footwear is a plus.The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment. Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
