Automation Robotic ProgrammerAs an Automation Robotic Programmer, you will be focused on programming and writing code to ensure our robot-based automated solutions execute to our customers' standards. The Automation Programmer will be responsible for participating in regular project meetings to ensure automation projects and timelines are progressing as planned with internal stakeholders. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, and delivering high-quality automation solutions that drive efficiency and productivity.What you'll be doing:60% of the time:Write Robotic Programs for Automation projectsWrite Robotic Programs for proving Automation Concepts in Greenheck's Proof of Concept (POC) LabIntegrate auxiliary equipment, such as machine vision, into the robotic programsWork with Automation Team Principal Engineers to strategize best way to automate a process with roboticsManage multiple medium complexity Automation projects from start to finish25% of the time:Write PLC-HMI programs using various software packagesCreate electrical schematics and electrical cabinet layout using AutoCAD electricalOrder parts for projects using Ariba Purchasing systemWire and fabricate electrical control panelsWire external machine components to electrical cabinetDevelop Electrical Parts List for medium complexity projects10% of the time:Work with IT Application developers with program integrationsTravel to Greenheck Group facilities to install machines and train maintenance and manufacturing personnel across the organizationSupport automation and controls technicians with their projectsProvide parts lists with standard components usedResearch safety devices appropriate for their applicationProvide programming assistance5% of the time:Design medium complexity machine guarding strategies that comply with OSHA and ANSI standards, to ensure the safety of our Greenheck teammatesPower up, troubleshoot, and commission machine to make production readyIntegrate hydraulic and pneumatic systems into the machine electrical control systemPost machine installation troubleshooting and support for complex issues throughout the entire life cycle of the machineWhat you should have:1-2 years of relevant work experience in automation programming for a level I role.
