The Residency Year Provides Several Key Components/resources To Ensure Successful Transition To Practice For New Graduate Nurses:Orientation to UCLA hospital systems, nursing department, standards of care, and clinical skills labMonthly education sessions that address leadership, patient outcomes, and professionalismUnit based orientation and educational programsUnit based preceptors and mentorsUnit and hospital based clinical nurse specialists and clinical educatorsOpportunities are available for New Graduates at the following locations:Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical CenterUCLA Santa Monica Medical CenterUCLA Mattel Children’s HospitalResnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLAUCLA West Valley Medical CenterOperative Room ServicesOpportunities may be available in Adult ICU, Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Medical ICU, General ICU, Burn Center, Emergency Department, Med Surg, Telemetry, Intermediate Care Unit Cardiology, Pediatric Oncology, Geriatrics, Oncology, Neuropsychiatric Hospital, and Operating Room Services. You will be prompted to select your preferred choice for new grad placement when you complete your application.The program will start in March 2025.Salary range: $55.67-$55.67 HourlySeniority level
