Civmec is actively seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic payroll team at our Corporate Offices in Henderson as a Team Leader. In this role, you will collaborate with the Payroll Manager and lead a team to handle crucial tasks involved in processing our weekly and monthly payrolls. Lead and mentor the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processingEnter new & update existing employees onto payroll systemsUnderstand and utilize workplace agreements for wage and salaried employeesAssist with payroll and EOY reconciliationsReconcile annual leave, long service leave, sick leave, redundancy, and productivity accruals as requiredPrepare, calculate, and reconcile weekly and monthly payments for wage and salary-based staffAssist with general payroll enquiriesMaintain current award updates and payroll adjustmentsReconcile weekly PAYG tax paymentsCalculate and process termination payments for employeesProvide accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requiredPerform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directedAbout You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a Senior Payroll position and leading a teamProven experience within the Construction IndustryStrong attention to detail and accuracyIntermediate to advanced MS Excel skillsWorking knowledge of EBA interpretation, FWA, and ATO relevant legislationStrong focus on delivering a high level of customer service and ability to communicate with all levels of managementPrevious experience with SAP/Success Factors is highly desirableAt Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a ‘Never Assume’ culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
