The Network Engineer will provide day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure, desktop systems, server installations, and more. They will also interact with multiple business, engineering, and manufacturing groups daily, and be an integral part of Annapolis Micro Systems' success.Responsibilities

Network design and troubleshootingSwitch, router, and firewall setup and configurationManaging and monitoring network availability and performance including fault toleranceCMMC/NIST 800-171 security standards and complianceServer (Windows & Linux) setup, maintenance, and troubleshootingHardware/software/security updates/upgrades to ensure compliance requirements are metProvide timely user supportDocumentation of network procedures, equipment, layout, and change managementRequirements

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or IT-related degreeStrong understanding of networking concepts and standards (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN)Proficiency in routers, managed switches, firewalls, remote access, and VPNsExperience with specialized test equipment and network analysis toolsHardware/software/firmware installation and maintenance experienceSVN, GIT and Maven administrationAWS AdministrationWindows Servers, Desktops, and Applications including Virtual MachinesMicrosoft 365 (InTune, Entra/Azure, Exchange, Defender for EndPoint, SharePoint, Office 365)Network and Security certificationsAnnapolis Micro Systems is proud to offer an excellent compensation package.
