Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a

Sr. Principal Human Resources Business Partner . Our HR community is comprised of a collaborative team with diverse thinking and varied backgrounds who work with a common passion of advocating for employees and providing solutions through partnership with business leaders. The selected candidate will support the F-35 program in

Redondo Beach, California .

This position requires a candidate who enjoys building relationships and skillfully helping leaders solve organizational challenges; thrives on achieving outcomes and closing multiple projects while ensuring that core HR workstreams are effectively executed; excels at planning, prioritizing, and project managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

The individual selected for this role will:

Establish and maintain trusted relationships within programs and functional homerooms as an advisor to enable business outcomes.

Identify program talent needs, risks, issues, and opportunities and develop solutions in partnership with key stakeholders.

Analyze data to provide key business insight and analysis to evolve decision making.

Collaborate with HR teams across homerooms and functions to support talent strategies.

Consult with program leaders to develop talent and support succession planning.

Implement HR strategy and programs including demand planning, staffing, talent development, and succession planning.

Advise leaders on performance management, employee relations, and total rewards.

Support and enable leaders to drive a culture that sustains the highest level of team performance.

The selected candidate will consult/partner with program leaders and demonstrate unwavering commitment to ethics and integrity while challenging traditional ways of doing business and will demonstrate the ability to skillfully communicate with broad audiences. The individual must be comfortable with leveraging technology; be adept at organizing and facilitating effective meetings and driving outcomes; succeed in navigating within a matrix and geographically dispersed organization; thrive on ownership, self-motivation, and deliver high-impact performance in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, Economics, Industrial Organizational Psychology or related discipline with 10 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience – OR – a Master's degree with 8 years of the required experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point presentation.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience sustaining positive employee relations.

Experience facilitating and orchestrating change management.

Experience using Workday or comparable HRM.

Previous Aerospace & Defense HR experience.

Active DoD Secret clearance.

Salary Range:

$109,900 - $164,900. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
