The Network Tech Lead IND position will participate in driving the efforts in Network Connectivity and Security Operations.Individual will collaborate with vendor/contractor partners to develop and implement the detailed configuration, and engineering strategies/solutions to deliver cloud engineering solutions while maintaining focus on network, security, uptime, and performance.Provide oversight, technical expertise and leadership (formal or informal) on Network connectivity and security related activities along with troubleshooting and resolution to complex problems/issues and manage day to day work intake and assignment processes.Ensure Network security activities are completed, validated, align with architectural objectives, requirements, and successfully deploy into the production environment.The Network Tech lead responsibilities include managing vendors and the ITIL functions – Incident, Change, Problem and Knowledge Management and processes across network towers.Individual will play a key role as manager on-call joining and directing network activities on P1/P2 bridge when assigned coverage in duty roster, ensuring delivery of network services meet business defined SLA, industry and organizational best practices and defined standards.Responsibilities:The Network Tech Lead will support hardware/software/network technologies production environment in Assess, Implement, and Optimize the posture of their network connectivity and security environments to mitigate security risks (e.g., insider and external threats, intentional and accidental). Position is for an experienced network connectivity and security professional with demonstrated experience within Network Security and Zero Trust architecture.Independently and team environment perform highly complex assignments.Lead proper execution of network changes & updates in accordance with corporate security policies to meet business requirements.Responsible for network performance monitoring in addition to being able to lead troubleshooting complex network-related issues in a logical manner.Research, recommend, and establish innovative solutions supporting service availability targets with proper capacity planning that scale with the business growth.Identify monitoring gaps and work with product owners to develop alerting targeting a proactive approach to Incident prevention.Perform Network Security maturity assessments, formulate roadmaps to bridge existing security gaps and help accelerate transformation towards Zero Trust architecture.Advise clients on Zero Trust, including development of high-level and low-level architecture designs, recommended security controls in addition to:Reviewing network architecture and determining if good practices are being followed (e.g., the “zones & conduits” concept, proper network segmentation, use of Industrial DMZ, etc.); and providing recommendations to comply with applicable cybersecurity framework.Reviewing security products utilized (e.g., firewalls, IDS, IPS) and determining if they are configured properly.Deploying network infrastructure devices (e.g., switches, routers, etc.), security appliances (e.g., firewalls, IDS, etc.), and virtualization solutions.Reviewing security policies, plans, and procedures; assessing network monitoring capabilities; analyzing system logs, security events, and packet captures to identify security threats; and providing recommendations to comply with applicable cybersecurity framework.Help internal team to implement network security controls necessary for Zero Trust architecture.Take ownership of end-end technical delivery of network security work for client and ensure what's sold is getting delivered to satisfaction of client.A willingness to go beyond the ordinary to meet and exceed client expectations.Support network security opportunity creation and development of client presentations and SOWs.Establish strong client relationships in key accounts to help progress the security services portfolio.Contribute content and advice to the offering development process.Preferred Qualifications:Cisco Platforms: 7-10 years exp. in Routing and Switching (ISR/ASR/Nexus/Catalyst), wireless, ACI, Meraki, SDWAN, ISECloud Networking - AWS, AzureNetwork monitoring, NetFlow, capacity managementPacket Broker – GigamonPacket capture and analysis - Gigastor, WiresharkWorking knowledge in security devices Firewalls - Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint F5 - Big IP, Infoblox - DNS, DHCP, NTPAutomation & scriptingAbout Our CompanyAmeriprise India LLP has been providing client based financial solutions to help clients plan and achieve their financial objectives for 125 years.
