The Corporate Development Senior Analyst will be responsible for working closely with the leader on Advent Health’s $150 million strategic investments portfolio and strategic business planning initiatives (including M&A activity and Joint Venture creation). This role will include performing due diligence for potential acquisitions and strategic investments, assessing companies for potential partnership with AdventHealth, conducting market research, and supporting strategic business planning activities in support of Advent Health’s Vision 2030 initiatives. This individual should be detail-oriented, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be comfortable with financial analysis.The value that you bring to the team:Support due diligence for potential acquisition and investment recommendations for AdventHealth leadership.Support business opportunity assessments in emerging healthcare innovation including market research, company diligence, financial modeling, and recommendation development.Act as a liaison between Corporate and Shared Services departments, hospital leadership, Corporate finance staff, and external consultants (when applicable) in support of business planning activities.Facilitate the introduction of innovative ideas and peer health system strategies into AdventHealth.Support the development and drafting of de novo business plans for high potential AdventHealth growth opportunities including research, project management, document writing, and presentation development.Produce consumable research reports including primers, white papers, and company analysis in areas of interest for key stakeholders with AdventHealth.Establish deadlines and communicate expectations to ensure projects are completed timely.Communicate status to supervisor on a regular basis.Qualifications:The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or other Science Major.2-7 years of progressive work experience.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s Degree is preferred.Experience working in a hospital finance department, hospital operations department, or private equity/venture capital firm is preferred.Strong understanding of emerging healthcare innovation areas for providers including services, technology, and medical devices.Strong understanding of de novo business plan development and startup company operations.
