Come work where you can make a difference every day, with opportunities for growth and development, in a great place to call home!General OverviewWe are seeking a part-time, 32-hour Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Urgent Care centers. We provide convenient care to our patients seven days per week with no appointment necessary. We are open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday-Friday and from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Our APPs are required to work two weekend shifts per month and must be willing to rotate between all four of our Urgent Care centers when staffing needs require, but the primary location for this hire will be our Amherst center.Our centers are located at:30 Locust St, Northampton, MA 0106012 College Hwy, Southampton, MA 01073170 University Dr, Amherst, MA 01002489 Bernardston Rd, Greenfield, MA 01301Cooley Dickinson Urgent Care serves community members ages 18 months and up. Onsite radiology and lab/blood draw services are also available. Our Urgent Care centers service the following non-life-threatening minor illnesses and injuries with skill, compassion, and efficiency:Cold/flu symptomsViral illnessesCuts/minor lacerationsSutures/suture removalMinor burnsEar and eye infectionsRespiratory infectionsUrinary tract infectionsRashesStrains/sprainsMinor fracturesIncision and drainage of abscessesSports and camp physicalsOccupational Medicine/Drug TestingQualificationsEducation:Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies required.Experience:1+ years of acute care/urgent care experience strongly preferred.Certification:Certified Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure required upon hire.Mass General Brigham is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
