The HC Companies is one of the leaders in horticultural container companies serving the needs of professional growers, grower distributors, retail garden centers and mass merchandisers in the Greenhouse, Nursery and Consumer markets.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Driver in our Sparks, NV location. Shift Available: Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Safely and effectively operate a sit-down propane forklift at all times.Load quality product in safe and effective manner.Perform all necessary paperwork with accuracy and precision.Perform all electronic transfers whenever moving a pallet.Maintain finished goods inventory accuracy of 98% or higher.Maintain forklift by completing pre- use inspections.Make sure work area is kept in a clean safe condition throughout shift and at end of day.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.Qualifications
Basic skills: critical thinking and reading comprehension,Must possess good communication/interpersonal skills and get along well with others.Must be able to become tow motor and forklift certified through The HC Companies.Must have the ability to lift at least 25 pounds.Ability to work in a team-oriented work environment.Ability to manage time well.Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Willing and able to work occasional overtime when necessaryNegative pre-employment drug screen and ability to pass criminal background check.
