Senior Product Manager

Private Label Solutions (PLS) is the B2B arm of Expedia Group. We open up our supply and innovative technology to businesses looking to take on the world of travel. These businesses, sometimes referred to as our ‘demand partners’, include global financial institutions (e.g. AMEX), corporate managed travel, offline travel agents (e.g. Flight Centre), global travel suppliers (e.g. Delta) and many more.

The Rapid API product team sits within PLS and supports demand partners looking to develop a travel experience for their customers. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the team to own the exposure of our VRBO supply via the Rapid API. The role will involve working with various teams across Expedia Group to ensure our partners have access to the world’s best supply.

In this role, you will:

Develop close relationships with our partners to understand their needs informing the strategy for your domain

Work on a portfolio of products, looking after various roadmaps and continuously prioritizing

Partner with your engineering teams to transform ideas into reality

Build great relationships with our commercial and operational teams to ensure products are launched and supported successfully

Partner with our analytics team to track the performance of your products against targets to evaluate their success

Care about your products, advocate for them, believe passionately in them

Experience and qualifications:

You will have 8+ years product management experience

You will have 5+ years in the travel industry, preferably in a B2B role

You will have 3+ years experience with vacation rental lines of business

You have a solid understanding of API products

You are excited by the accountability that comes with leading a large portfolio of products

You have outstanding influencing skills, including experience working within a large matrix organization

You speak knowledgeably with engineers about a problem space, can communicate user stories and know how to build products incrementally

You can identify the best business opportunities, make prioritization calls, and devise a clear strategy

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
