Must Have Mortgage Experience

Seeking Licensed Mortgage Loan Professionals who are responsible for developing new business, structuring, and closing loans, as well as maintaining and servicing an existing portfolio.

The Loan Officer manages the customer through the entire loan process by setting expectations, taking applications, and managing closings. This involves collecting and analyzing information and documentation regarding the customer's employment, income, assets, credit history, and debts to determine the appropriate mortgage loan financing options. This position also represents the company in the local community through active involvement in community affairs and by participating in marketing efforts of products and services.

Must hold an active Mortgage Originator License through NMLS

Essential DutiesActively work with already established referral accounts and originate residential mortgage loans with mortgage products to meet established loan quality and production goals.Respond in a timely and professional manner to customer inquiries and referrals that are generated through established contacts or our business channels.Conduct interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data and determine customer financing objectives. Advise customers of advantages and disadvantages of loan products and pricing and gather any additional information required.Manage overall customer interaction and interface with all parties involved on each individual loan from application to closing, including but not limited to counseling and pre-qualifying potential homeowners.Obtain all necessary supporting documents and collect the appropriate fees.Negotiate terms, structure loan financing based on risk considerations, and present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority.Maintain a thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Explain the available loan program and rate options to the customer and advise the customer on options for locking in a rate and loan program. When the customer wants to lock in a rate and program, document the customer's request to lock and confirm the locked rate/program with the Secondary Marketing Department.Provide monthly projections for production on a timely basis.Partner with Mortgage Assistants and other team members to provide guidance around all aspects of the sales process.Participate in internal meetings and required training.Maintain a professional image and demonstrate an understanding of and follow all Policies and Procedures.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 3 years of mortgage experience with a proven track historyActive Mortgage Originator license through NMLS required in all states in which loans are originated OR will need to obtain license within first 90 days.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProvides strong customer service to internal and external customersAbility to develop positive relationshipsExceptional organization and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentIndependent, self-starting, team player with a positive attitudeAbility to read, analyze, and interpret financial data.Working knowledge of mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory (federal and state) guidelines.Working knowledge of mortgage origination process, FNMA, FHA, VA, USDA Manufactured Home guidelines.Salary:
