Associate II Interior Designer
to work at their Houston, TX location.Must haves:7+ years of relevant architecture or interior design experienceMust be a Registered Interior Designer or a Registered Architect with current licenseProficiency in Revit requiredResponsibilities:Work with Principal in Charge/Lead Designer to establish project concept and aestheticsImplement all phases of projects, including client meetings, field verification, drawing production, material and furniture selection/specification, and construction administrationCoordinate multiple projects concurrentlyWork with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet project objectivesManage client expectations regarding scope, budget, and scheduleMaintain existing client relationships and build new client relationshipsManage project staffing, fees, and scheduleTrack and ensure project profitabilitySupport project team with various administrative duties and project correspondenceContribute to office initiatives and learning programsParticipate in business development and marketing effortsRecruit and mentor staffReport to Senior Project Manager or Associate PrincipalQualifications:7+ years of relevant architecture or interior design experienceBachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior DesignMust be a Registered Interior Designer or a Registered Architect with current licenseIf Registered Architect, NCARB and AIA registration preferredProficiency in Revit requiredAdditional software used in the position may include Adobe In-Design, Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator, and SketchUpAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership, communication, and relationship management skillsFlexibility to focus on multiple projects at the same timeExtensive knowledge of building materials, construction, and building codes, including ADA
