This role is crucial in enhancing the school’s brand, fostering community relations, and driving engagement through strategic communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in both marketing and communications.Job OverviewReporting directly to the President, the Director of Marketing and Communication will manage the tactical execution of marketing, communications and public relations projects promoting La Salle High School.Essential FunctionsEfficiently coordinate the development, design, approval, production, and distribution of marketing materials in collaboration with various departments.Collaborate closely with the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, to review and enhance recruitment and enrollment campaigns.Partner with key stakeholders to plan and execute promotional marketing campaigns.Analyze past successful admissions campaigns to identify effective strategies, areas for improvement, and lessons learned.Review and assess the performance of marketing campaigns, making adjustments or proposing new ideas as needed.Organize and participate in marketing activities and events to enhance brand awareness for La Salle.Develop and strategize content, manage scheduling and approval of posts across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn), and plan advertising and promotional materials for print, digital, and social media.Oversee projects from inception to completion and evaluate their success using established metrics.Conduct market research to uncover opportunities for promotion and growth.Maintain the school’s website with current, relevant information while analyzing data analytics.Identify and capitalize on media opportunities, build and maintain media relationships, and boost public awareness of the school through strategic external communications.Develop public relations strategies based on the school’s objectives and needs to positively influence public opinion and promote the school.Prepare and edit school publications, such as newsletters and direct mail, for both internal and external audiences.Ensure all communications (web, print, signage, etc.) align with the school’s brand image and identity.Support and/or create newsworthy events, special promotions, and upcoming performances.Advocate for La Salle’s brand identity across all marketing materials and collateral.Ensure adherence to branding guidelines across all marketing and communication efforts, including WLSN productions, apparel, and promotional products.Perform other duties as assigned by the President or Principal.RequirementsBachelor’s degreeFive (5) years of experience in marketing and communicationsProficient in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, video editing software and creation tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, etc.Additional Qualifications ConsideredBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in education or a related sector.Proven track record of successfully managing marketing campaigns and leading teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations to diverse audiences.Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and use insights to drive strategic decision-making.Application Process InformationPlease send the following to moverbey@lasallehs.net:A resume.A cover letter (explaining your interest in the position).Digital Portfolio (optional).List of three (3) professional references.Physical Requirements/Work EnvironmentOffice environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.BenefitsLa Salle High School offers a comprehensive benefits package to their eligible employees:Insurance plans include medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage.Flexible spending accounts and an employee assistance program.Financial security via our life and long-term disability insurance, accident and illness insurance, and retirement savings plans.Generous paid time off work options including vacation, sick leave, annual holidays, and winter/summer season days in addition to paid parental leave.Tuition remission is available for employees and their eligible dependents.Enjoy discounts for on-campus activities and school merchandise.*La Salle High School is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
