Minimum Requirements:

HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred

Specialized skills training/certification may be required.

Generally, 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Job Summary:

Provide support and assistance with the drafting of communication plans, projects, campaigns, and initiatives to meet company goals and objectives.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:

Responsible for drafting various communication materials, such as associate newsletters, news articles, and memos.

Distributes communications across several functional teams and handles administrative functions such as electronic distribution list management.

Maintains editorial calendar for primary communication clients.

Coordinates timing of regular communication channels.

Works on multiple communications campaigns; organizes drafts for approvals through leadership.

Supports functional meetings with content and leader support.

Responds to communications inquiries as appropriate.

Nature and Scope:

Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.

Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.

Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Work Environment:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunities to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

No travel required.

Education and Experience:

HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally, 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
