Manager Marketing Commercialization

The dynamic and creative Commercialization Marketing Manager will play a vital role within the marketing team and work closely with the Vice President of Marketing on commercialization strategies across Professional Tools brands including product marketing launch and campaign development, email marketing strategy and social media management activities for Greenlee. This position will be based in either Rockford, IL or Elyria, OH.

As industry leaders, both the RIDGID and Greenlee brands have a rich history of developing and effectively launching award-winning and industry-changing products and solutions. In this role, the Marketing Manager will continue to add to this legacy of excellence, bringing their own ideas and insights to our commercialization strategy. They will elevate Greenlee product awareness and exposure by serving as the key point of contact for all Greenlee product launches, campaigns, electrical-focused trade shows and social media activities related to the Greenlee brand. This includes planning and execution, and developing influencer relationships that are aligned with our core communications strategies and brand guidelines. They will also lead our email strategy for the RIDGID and Greenlee brands, including overall storytelling, e-newsletter development, and activities to increase subscription and reach. They will work with internal teams and outside vendors and creative partners to develop and deploy effective content.

This role is part of a dynamic global environment and will work closely with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Leadership. The ability to collaborate and cultivate relationships with these internal teams and is critical to the success of this role. This includes the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with senior-level executives both inside and outside our organization. Candidates should have dynamic presentation skills and understand the importance of creative and compelling storytelling and the importance of bringing products and solutions to life.

Candidates should have knowledge of metrics and marketing tools for product commercialization across various mediums and be capable of implementing communication and launch plans. A strong background in marketing and/or product management is crucial.

To be successful in this role, you are able to act as a player-coach, rolling up your sleeves to chip in directly on marketing efforts – taking new innovative commercialization ideas from conception through execution. Effectively lead multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment by coordinating cross-functional efforts and adapting to shifting demands.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Lead strategy and deployment for existing and new product commercialization through various marketing mediums.

Grasp products' outstanding selling feature, and work to bring this to life in all communications and customer-facing interactions through storytelling.

Partner with Sales for accurate product commercialization through various sales channels based on unique customer needs.

Develop and curate engaging content across social channels for the Greenlee brand.

Analyze data and build reports on important measurements.

Own the development of new strategies sought at growing engagement, encouraging community, and maintaining positive brand sentiment.

Run the execution of outbound email marketing campaigns, including content coordination and communication strategy.

Partner with Product Management on channel-specific product launches and specific customer requirements.

Participate in tradeshows, social influencer events, and other experiences to create and gather content to be used for Greenlee’s social media amplification, community building, and brand awareness.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field from an accredited college or university

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in marketing or public relations

The ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at once

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong understanding of social media communication styles and social media tools

Team-oriented approach

Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite
