Job Details:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Audit Associate to join our dynamic and fast-growing finance team. This position plays a pivotal role in our organization by providing assurance to our stakeholders about the accuracy of our financial statements and the effectiveness of our internal controls. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, supervising junior staff, and liaising with clients and regulatory bodies. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Audit Associate, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  1. Leading and executing audit engagements for public companies in accordance with PCAOB standards and SEC regulations.
  2. Assessing and managing risks associated with financial reporting and internal controls.
  3. Preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
  4. Supervising, training, and mentoring junior audit staff.
  5. Liaising with clients to understand their business processes, identify potential areas of risk, and recommend appropriate controls.
  6. Collaborating with other departments and teams within the organization to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  7. Keeping abreast of latest developments in US GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB standards, and SEC regulations.
  8. Participating in the development and implementation of audit methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Senior Audit Associate position, you must have:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably within the finance industry.
  2. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
  3. Extensive knowledge and experience with PCAOB, SEC, GAAP, Risk Assessment, IFRS, and US GAAP.
  4. Proven experience in leading audit engagements and supervising junior staff.
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and regulatory bodies.
  7. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the company’s values and ethical standards.
  8. Proficiency in using audit software and other financial systems.
  9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
  10. Willingness to stay updated with the latest developments in the field of auditing and financial reporting.
