Job Details:
Our organization is seeking a motivated and experienced DOD Contracts Project Manager/Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team in the scientific industry. This position involves managing a variety of DOD contracts, ensuring that all project requirements are met, and overseeing the engineering team. The successful candidate will have a PE Certification in Texas and at least 5 years of experience in environmental compliance, geology, and/or environmental engineering. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of DOD contract projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure that project requirements are met and that all work is conducted in accordance with industry standards.
- Review and approve project designs, ensuring that they meet all DOD contract requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring that all work is conducted in accordance with contract requirements.
- Conduct regular project reviews, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and in accordance with DOD contract requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, developments, and changes in DOD contract requirements.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- PE Certification in Texas is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DOD contracts project management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of DOD contract requirements and industry standards.
- BS Degree in Engineering, Geology, or related environmental science
- Experience in environmental compliance, geology, and/or environmental engineering
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in the use of project management software and other relevant technology.
- A strong commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
