Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

Based out of San Jose, CA we are a National Leader in Construction, revolutionizing the Commercial market space! We are in urgent need of an experienced Estimator responsible for preparing bids for all of our projects and for continuous estimating on awarded projects that are in the Pre-construction Phase. As an Estimator, you are also responsible for compiling a qualified bidders list; conveying invitations to bidders; soliciting bids; preparing estimates for all of our work, quantifying and pricing labor and materials; receiving bids; and reviewing bids to prepare total project costs.

Job Details

Site Superintendents will be responsible for supervising and scheduling all concrete activities at local job sites, directing foreman, making sure jobs are being completed on time and on budget, and ensuring quality and safety requirements are being met. The descriptions below are representative of, but not limited to, the duties and responsibilities for this position.

Five Key Roles of the Site Superintendent:

Supervising all aspects of the job site, including safety and quality standards

Communicate with owners and owner’s representatives on a consistent basis

Resolve conflicts and disputes to minimize delays and claims

Instruct field staff on the processes, policies, and procedures essential to the project

Plan and supervise the field activities, such as the method of construction, manpower, material quantities, equipment and schedules

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Working closely with office staff on necessary production rates, construction methods, and schedules

Participating in Level 10 meetings with local office staff

Continually expanding knowledge and use of industry best practices and innovation

Solving problems, as they arise, by using available knowledge and resources

Understand and apply the Company’s labor relations policies

Communicating and upholding the Company’s commitment to Integrity and Code of Ethics, as well as ensuring the same for the entire team

Other relevant tasks as assigned

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

At least five (5) years in concrete or heavy civil construction

Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation

Excellent computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets

Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely in a positive manner with team members.
