We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Construction Project Manager for our rapidly expanding Engineering firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a solid background in commercial construction, who is passionate about leading teams and managing projects from inception to completion. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate a high degree of initiative, and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle including conception, planning, execution, control and closure to ensure adherence to client’s objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  2. Manage and lead project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication, and fostering a positive work environment.
  3. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, resources, schedule, and budget.
  4. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists to ensure project goals are met.
  5. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  6. Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, identifying any issues or risks that could impact project timeline or budget.
  7. Implement risk management processes and conduct risk assessments to minimize project risks.
  8. Ensure all projects are compliant with OSHA 30 safety standards.
  9. Utilize MS Office suite for project documentation, presentation, and tracking.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  2. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
  3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry.
  4. Proven experience in commercial construction projects.
  5. Demonstrated leadership skills with a record of leading and managing teams effectively.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically in MS Project and Excel.
  7. Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA 30 safety regulations and standards.
  8. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  9. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  10. Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments concurrently.
  11. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
