Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Director of IT to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who wants to leverage their skills in IT consulting and leadership, and who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The Consulting Director of IT will play a critical role in shaping and executing our IT strategy, while managing a team of IT professionals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the IT consulting team in designing, implementing, and managing IT solutions that align with our clients' business objectives.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the IT strategy aligns with the overall company and client goals.
  3. Provide strategic direction and oversight for the design and implementation of IT systems and projects.
  4. Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to improve productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  5. Oversee the management of IT budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  6. Provide leadership and guidance to the IT team, ensuring team members are motivated, productive, and delivering high quality work.
  7. Ensure adherence to IT best practices, standards, and policies, and ensure compliance with security and data privacy regulations.
  8. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
  9. Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  3. Demonstrated experience with Azure infrastructure.
  4. Proven experience in IT consulting, with a strong understanding of the latest technology trends and their applications in a business context.
  5. Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a high performing IT team.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data and metrics.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to rapid change.
  10. Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or similar are a plus.
