Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily production operations, ensuring processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
  2. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime and maintain optimum performance.
  3. Troubleshoot machinery issues promptly, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  4. Utilize knowledge of extrusion and blow molding in the processing and production of plastic products.
  5. Collaborate with the engineering team in machine design to optimize production processes.
  6. Implement 5S and Kaizen methodologies to improve workplace organization, efficiency, and safety.
  7. Monitor and control the quality of raw materials used in production.
  8. Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
  9. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  2. Proven experience with extrusion, blow molding, and machine design.
  3. Strong knowledge of plastics and plastics manufacturing processes.
  4. Demonstrated experience in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting machinery.
  5. Familiarity with 5S and Kaizen methodologies.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
