Looking for an exciting opportunity in employment and labor law? I'm seeking a highly qualified Associate to join our Corporate Department, focusing on employment and labor matters. This role offers a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days per week in the office. You can be based in any of our U.S. offices in Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Los Angeles, CA; New York City; Irvine, CA; or Washington, DC.

If you have at least four years of experience in employment law at a nationally recognized law firm, this could be a great fit for you. Here's what we're looking for:

Experience advising clients on employment-related compliance, including worker classification, wage and hour issues, immigration, unions and collective bargaining, employment policies and handbooks, and equal opportunity laws.

Skills in drafting employment agreements.

Experience drafting separation agreements and advising on reductions-in-force and WARN Act issues.

Knowledge of drafting and advising on restrictive covenants.

Experience conducting employment-related diligence and handling employment-related reps and covenants in transaction documents is a plus.

In addition to these specific experiences, you should have excellent academic credentials, strong writing skills, superior organizational skills, and a strong client-team-focused work ethic. You must be a member in good standing of (or eligible to waive into) the bar of the state where you will be working.
